Shorty Shirts

Before Distinct Edge, there was Shorty Shirts.

Shortys Shirts was a family-run business operated by Julie Ann Balmer and her husband, starting on a smaller scale and building a loyal customer base through their work in apparel and garment decoration.

As the business grew beyond what could comfortably be operated from their shed, it was sold to Tony and Denise Ramsay in 2013, beginning the next stage of the operation that would eventually become Distinct Edge.

Julie Ann and her family remained part of the local business community and today operate Mesh Products, located just around the corner from Creative Group.

Although the names have changed over the years, Shorty Shirts represents the earliest chapter in a business lineage that continues through Distinct Edge and into The Creative Group today.
